Analysis of Math Teacher Candidates’ Misconception on the Dynamic Electricity Concept

This study was intended to reveal the profile of students’ misconception of the concept of dynamic electricity in one private university in Cirebon city. In the study of physics, the misconception will hamper the achievement of physics learning goals. Misconceptions will greatly hinder the process of acceptance and assimilation of knowledge in students, so that they will hinder the success to learn more. It is necessary to conduct research on the analysis of misconception of mathematics teacher candidates on the concept of dynamic electricity. Misconception is defined as a student conception that is incompatible with the simplified conception of physicists. To identify misconceptions experienced by students, multiple-choice diagnostic tests equipped with a Certainty Response Index (CRI) can be conducted. The data obtained is then completed with interview data. This research is a descriptive research which is a research to give a description about phenomenon, or facts under study by describing the value of the variable without comparing. The study found that 81% of students’ have a misconception in the sub-chapter of electric current, and 50% in the concept of electric potential difference sub-chapter.

The Implementation of Quantum Teaching (QT) and Think Talk Write (TTW) through Lesson Study to Improve Students’ Learning Motivation

The research was intended to improve students’ learning motivation at study and learning course for fifth semester of Biology Education. Classroom Action Research has been conducted in two cycles with four phases from each cycle. Each cycle has been done based on lesson study consisting of plan, do, and see. The data were collected using a questionnaire of students’ motivation and motivation questionnaire of the observer which were measured through aspects of attention, relevance, confidance, and statisfaction. Then data are analyzed in quantitative descriptive. The results showed that the feasibility of learning syntax on each cycle has a constant value of 100%. The average feasibility of lesson study in cycle I and II are 98.98% and 100%. The result of the average adherence to learning syntax in cycle I and II is 100%. Based on the result of the questionnaire filled by the observer shows an increase in motivation to learn between cycle I and II by 12.6%, while the average results of the students’ motivation questionnaire showed an increase of motivation to learn by 6%. The application of learning model using Quantum Learning and Think Talk Write can boost the students’ motivation to learn.

The Benefit of Purple Aruk Rice (Siangu) in Lowering Body Mass Index (BMI) and Body Fat Percentage

Aruk rice is an iconic rice from Province of Bangka Belitung which is made from cassava while purple aruk rice (PAR)e is made from sweet potato (Ipomea batatas). Ipomea batatas is a high nutritional food that possesses several medicinal value including anti-cancer, antidiabetic, and anti-inflammatory activities. This research aimed to assest the organoleptic features of PAR and analyze the effect of PAR consumption in lowering the BMI and bofódy fat percentage. The design of this research was randomized crossover design with quasi experimental research within subjects single-factor two-level design. This experiment consist of three phases, phase 1 (plain rice consumption), wash out phase, and phase 3 (PAR consumption). The only different between two phases was the source of the carbohydrate. The data of decreasing BMI and body fat percentage betweern plain rice diet and purple aruk rice was analyzed by using paired t test. Organoleptic assessment showed that the aroma of PAR is dislikeable but the natural purple colour is likeable. The decreasing of BMI and body fat percentage was found higher in phase 2 (2,05±0,10) than phase 1 (0,4±0,14), p=0,002. The decreasing of body fat percentage was also found higher in phase 2 or purple aruk rice diet (2,55±0,25) compared to phase 1 plain rice diet (0,5±0,20), p=0,003. Consumption of aruk purple rice lower BMI and body fat percentage more effective than consumption of plain rice.

Response of Pineapple Callus (Ananas comosus Merr.) through In-Vitro Colchicines Treatment

Pineapple Plant (Ananas comosus (L.) Merr) is a fruit plant that has a high economic value. Increased variety of pineapple preparations lead to increased demand for pineapple fruit. Polyploidation is one way to increase the varieties using colchicine. This study aims to know the pineapple explants of callus response after being treated by colchicine using in vitro method. This research used Group Randomized Design (GRD) which variations concentration of Colchicine 0%, 0.01%, 0.05%, and 0.1%. Parameters were observed to response and thickness of callus of pineapple explants. Data were analyzed using F test and DMRT test in which significance level of 5% with SPSS 17 program. The results showed that pineapple plant explant able to respond colchicine concentration marked with thicker callus. The best colchicine treatment to induce pineapple explants callus was concentration 0.1% of colchicine.

The Diversity of Hibiscus rosa-sinensis based on Morphological Approach

The aim of this research was to know the morphological diversity of Hibiscus rosa-sinensis through visual observation. The character of the qualitative and quantitative morphology of Hibiscus was analyzed descriptively. The result showed that there are 15 types of Hibiscus have morphological differences. There are two kinds of leaf shape that is ovatus and deltoideus. While The leaf base is obtusus, rotundatus and truncatus. The leaf apex includes acute and acuminate. All cultivars have a similar leaf margin that is serrate. The leaf colours are variable ranging from green, young green, dark green and variegate (combination between green and white). The flowers have 6 main color variations i.e beige, yellow, red, orange, pink and white. The corolla forms a single petal or a double petal, with two types of corolla uniquely buds and breech. It can be concluded that the cultivar of Hibiscus rosa-sinensis is variable in leaves and flowers.

The aim of this study is to find out and analyze the effect of a worksheet based learning of rotational dynamics on students’ critical thinking skills viewed from IQ score and the correlation between critical thinking skills and the students’ IQ score. This research has been conducted in even semester of the academic year of 2017/2018, in university in Bandung area. All students in a university in Bandung City are the population for this study with the target population are all students in the first year in the university year of 2017/2018. The sample in this study is the first semester of Physics Education students as an experimental group, selected using purposive sampling technique, with data collecting tool in the form of written test of critical thinking skill and IQ. The research design used is one shot case design. A hypothesis test is done by using correlation and regression. The whole test of this data analysis used SPSS program. The results of this study indicate that the learning-based student's worksheet on the concept of Rotational Dynamics significantly influences students' critical thinking skills. It can be seen from the score of n-gain which is 0.5. Based on the calculation on correlation obtained value of 0.185 <0.5, it means that IQ scores correlated weakly to the students’ critical thinking score, while the regression value of 0.303> 0.05, in other words, the students’ IQ score does not affect the students’ critical thinking skills. So it can be concluded that there is no correlation between IQ and critical thinking skills which seen from the results of correlation and regression analysis.

Determination Of Acoustic Properties Of Rice Bran Composites A Material Handler Noise

The examination of the acoustic characteristic of rice bran has been performed. The materials are the alternative materials of the noise controllerfrom the use of synthetic fiber materials like glasswool. The examination is completed by using tube impedance method. The result of the examination reveals that the natural fiber materials that have been mixed with glue have a good value of sound absorption at frequency 400-1200 Hz whereas at frequency 200 Hz, its value does not change significantly. The high value of the sound absorption is owned by materials with the bigger porous. Beside the coefficient of the absorbtion, the examination of value of acoustic impendence is also performed. The result shows that the similar composition between natural fiber and glue has a bigger value of impendence compared to the lower composition of glue. It is caused by the fulfillment of the bigger amount of the porous by glue.

Genetic Variation of Golden Silk-Producing Insect Cricula trifenestrata Helf. (Lepidoptera: Saturniidae) Using ISSR (Inter Simple Sequence Repeats) Molecular Marker

The aims of this research were to conduct a study on genetic variation C. trifenestrata collected from several sampling locations using ISSR (Inter-Simple Sequence Repeat) molecular markers. The applied methods of the research were to collect samples (C. trifenestrata), isolation DNA genome, and analysis of genetic variation using the ISSR-PCR method. Based on genetic variation analysis using 4 primers (ISSR 1, ISSR 2, ISSR 6, dan ISSR 7), it is known that the level of genetic variation and polymorphism of C. trifenestrata is high with a percentage of 98.9%. The formed dendogram showed that the 29 studied samples of C. trifenestrata separate into two major groups at the similarity level of (0,60) 60%.

Research was conducted to determine whether there is 1) the relationship between the state of the family of learning achievement, 2) the relationship between the state schools of learning achievement, 3) the relationship between communities of learning achievement, and 4) the relationship between the state of the family, school and community environment against learning achievement. This research is associative quantitative correlational analysis techniques. The results showed: 1) There is a positive relationship between the state of the family of learning achievement, the result of the calculation shows r table> count r ie 0.51 > 0.38, 2) There is a positive relationship between the state schools of learning achievement, the result of the calculation shows r count> r table is 0.39 > 0.38, 3) There is a positive relationship between communities of learning achievement, it is shown from the results of calculations, the count r> r table is 0.51 > 0.38, and 4) There is a positive relationship between the state of the family, school and community environment on achievement study, it was shown from the calculation, the concordance coefficient 0,95 and the value of significance (p) of 0,00 <0.05.

Profile of Animal Ecology Field trip: Description of Students’ Identification Skills and Classification Skills

This study aimed to describe the activities in the field trip of animal ecology course and describe the identification and classification skills of students at Animal Ecology course. Also, this study describes students responses on-field activities. This study uses a quasi-experimental method using only post-test design. Data analysis using quantitative descriptive analysis techniques. The research subject as many as 30 students to take the test and 40 students are given a questionnaire. The results showed that the CPL course and CPL subjects not relevant to the fact that in both CPL there are some points the use of science and technology, the reality in the learning process technology, it is also supported by student response on the issue. The identification and classification skills of students included in the category sufficient. Analysis of Pearson correlation between the identification and classification skills showed no significant relationship (-.107), it is contrary to some assumptions that states that the ability to identify a basis for classification capability. Thus the results of this study can be used as an input or reference to the development of the program of courses, especially in the subject of animal ecology.

STUDY OF HUMAN ANCESTORS NUSA TENGGARA TIMUR INDONESIA BASED ON Y CHROMOSOME.

Genetic studies conducted in NTT region focused on four islands namely Flores, Sumba, Alor, and Timor. The islands of NTT are a transition zone between Papuan and Austronesian speakers. Genetically there is also an intensive mixing. The dominant genetic of tribes in Alor island is Papua / Melanesia, but on the other islands there is almost uniform mixing. In the western part of Sumba Island there is a majority area of the Papuan/ Melanesian genetic type, while the tribes in eastern Sumba, Sabu and Rote are Austronesian. Genetic mixing is also seen on Timor Island. West Timor is the more dominantly Austronesian type, while central and eastern Timor are a mixture of Papua/ Melanesia with Austronesian. On such Flores islands, the tribes in the eastern and central regions have the Papua/ Melanesian type, while the western part is almost entirely of Austronesian type. The tribes on Solor, Lembata and Adonara Islands also have mixed types between Austronesia and Papua/ Melanesia. Based on paternal lineage, the blood flowing in NTT people consists of seven line ages of East Asia, Taiwan, Southeast Asia, Arab, Japan, Europe and Papua/ Melanesia, characterized by the detection of thirty-two Y-DNA markers: C-M130/ RPS4Y, F-P14/F-M89 (East Asia), NO-M214, O-M175, O-M119, O-M95, O-P203, O-M110, O-M122, O-M134, O-P201, O-JST3002611 (Taiwan), K-M526, K-P397, K-P405, K-P79, K-P336, P-P295, Q-M242, Q-P36 (Southeast Asia), J-M172 (Arab), C-P343, D-M116 (Japan), E-P1 (Europe),C-M38, C-M208, C-P355, M-P256, M-M4, M-P34, S-M230, S-M254, S-P377 (Melanesia).

Studi genetik yang dilakukan di daerah NTT difokuskan pada empat pulau yakni Flores, Sumba, Alor, dan Timor. Pulau-pulau di NTT menjadi zona transisi antara penutur Papua dan Austronesia. Secara genetika juga terjadi pembauran yang intensif. Suku di pulau Alor, genetiknya dominan Papua/ Melanesia, namun di pulau-pulau lain terjadi pembauran hampir merata. Di Pulau Sumba bagian barat ada kawasan yang genetikanya mayoritas bertipe Papua/ Melanesia, sedangkan suku di Sumba bagian timur, Sabu dan Rote bertipe Austronesia. Pembauran genetika juga terlihat di Pulau Timor. Timor barat lebih dominan bertipe Austronesia sedangkan Timor bagian tengah dan timur merupakan campuran Papua/ Melanesia dengan Austronesia. Di pulau florespun demikian, yakni suku-suku di bagian timur dan tengah memiliki tipe Papua/ Melanesia, sedangkan bagian barat hampir seluruhnya memiliki tipe Austronesia. Suku-suku di pulau Solor, Lembata dan Adonara juga memiliki tipe campuran antara Austronesia dan Papua/ Melanesia. Berdasarkan garis keturunan ayah, darah yang mengalir dalam orang NTT terdiri atas tujuh garis keturunan yaitu Asia Timur, Taiwan, Asia Tenggara, Arab, Jepang, Eropa dan Papua/ Melanesia, yang ditandai dengan terdeteksinya tiga puluh tiga penanda Y-DNA yakni: C-M130/ RPS4Y, F-P14/F-M89 (Asia Timur), NO-M214, O-M175, O-M119, O-M95, O-P203, O-M110, O-M122, O-M134, O-P201, O-JST3002611 (Taiwan), K-M526, K-P397, K-P405, K-P79, K-P336, P-P295, Q-M242, Q-P36 (Asa Tenggara), J-M172 (Arab), C-P343, D-M116 (Jepang), E-P1 (Eropa),C-M38, C-M208, C-P355, M-P256, M-M4, M-P34, S-M230, S-M254, S-P377. Desain Eksperimen Karakterisasi Perilaku Udara Sekitar dalam Tinjauan Sebagai Gas Ideal atau Gas Nyata

The aim of this study is to characterize the behavior of the environmental air using a simple method which can be implemented as a learning media in senior high school or undergraduate students. The method used is experimental which combined with curve fitting. From the curve fitting step, the behavior of the air can be explained. Otherwise, the quantitative data such as Van der Waals constants can also be obtained. From this study obtained that the Van der Waals constants, a and b, of the chosen air samples as large as (11.23 ± 0.84) J.m3/mol2 and (2.04 ± 0.15) × 10-3 m3/mol respectively. These results can be used to predict that the chosen air samples will act as an ideal gas at 636.5 K and 105 Pa in temperature and pressure respectively.

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui perilaku udara sekitar dalam tinjauan sebagai gas ideal atau gas nyata dengan metode sederhana yang dapat diterapkan sebagai media pembelajaran baik di tingkat perguruan tinggi maupun sekolah menengah atas. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen yang dipadukan dengan pencocokan kurva. Informasi terkait kecenderungan perilaku udara sekitar diperoleh dari tahapan pencocokan kurva. Nilai kuantitatif yang berupa konstanta Van der Waals dari sampel udara sekitar juga dapat diperoleh dari persamaan hasil pencocokan kurva yaitu a dan b secara berturut-turut sebesar (11.23 ± 0.84) J.m3/mol2 dan (2.04 ± 0.15) × 10-3 m3/mol. Nilai konstanta yang diperoleh dapat digunakan untuk memprediksi bahwa sampel udara yang diamati akan berperilaku sebagai gas ideal ketika bersuhu 636.5 K dengan tekanan 105 Pa.

Analisis Potensi Bahan Ajar Biologi Kelas XI Pada Kurikulum 2013 Dalam Memberdayakan Kemampuan Berkomunikasi Siswa

The purpose of this research was to analyze the biology materials of the eleventh grade on the material of the human excretion system on the potential of empowering students' communication skills in one of the Senior High School in Madiun Regency. The research uses the descriptive method. The Technique of collecting data with teaching material is observed potency of empowering its communication skill directly based on communication skill assessment instrument covering twelve indicators which are divided on the four aspects namely expression aspect, evaluation, response, and negotiation. The teaching materials that were analyzed included two biology books from two different publishers, especially the material of human excretion system in Basic Competence 3.9 and 4.9 from 2013 curriculum. Data analyzed uses descriptive quantitative analysis. The result of analysis shows that the potential of empowerment of communication skill in teaching materials is still low, it’s indicated by the low of indicator and the low percentage of indicator that emerged, from the twelve indicators only four indicators that emerged: the first indicator 27,3%, the third indicator 18,2%, the eighth indicator 27,3%, and the twelfth indicator 27,3%. Based on the results of the analysis can be concluded that the biology materials eleventh grade on the material excretion system used in one of the Senior High School in Madiun Regency has not the potential to empower students' communication skills.

This study aims to determine the effect of Levels of Inquiry learning to students’ science literacy skill of class X on a concept of Archimedes law. This research is a quasi-experimental study with the design of the matching only pretest-posttest control group. Subjects in this study were students class X SMA Negeri 1 Baradatu (n=72). The type of data produced is quantitative data. The result of this research is in conventional learning (control class), obtained mean score of science literacy skill pretest score 37,5 and mean of posttest score 48,95, while at levels of inquiry learning (experiment class), the science literacy skill obtained means of pretest score 40.97 and mean of posttest score 72.91. Hypothesis test of science literacy skill of sig 2-tailed 0,00 because of sig <0,05, meaning H0 rejected H1 accepted, hence can conclude that levels of inquiry learning have significant influence to students’ science literacy skill of class X in Archimedes law concept at SMA Negeri 1 Baradatu.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran levels of inquiry terhadap kemampuan literasi sains siswa kelas X pada materi hukum Archimedes. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuasi eksperimen dengan desain the matching only pretest-posttest control group. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Baradatu berjumlah 72 orang peserta didik. Jenis data yang dihasilkan adalah data kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini adalah pada pembelajaran konvensional (kelas kontrol), diperoleh kemampuan literasi sains siswa rata-rata pretest 37,5 dan nilai rata-rata posttest 48,95, sedangkan pada pembelajaran levels of inquiry (kelas eksperimen), kemampuan literasi sains diperoleh nilai rata-rata pretest 40,97 dan nilai rata-rata posttest 72,91. Uji hipotesis kemampuan literasi sains ditemukan nilai sig 2-tailed 0,00, karena nilai sig < 0,05, artinya H0 ditolak H1 diterima, maka dapat disimpulkan model pembelajaran levels of inquiry berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kemampuan literasi sains siswa kelas X pada materi hukum Archimedes di SMA Negeri 1 Baradatu.

Tinjauan Kepraktisan Model Pembelajaran Fisika “PRODUKSI” Terhadap Keterlaksanaan Pembelajaran dan Aktivitas Belajar Siswa

The purpose of this study is to determine the practicality of learning model "PRODUKSI" to the process of learning execution and student learning activities. The research method used is experiment with one-shot case study design. The location of the research is at SMAN 2 Bojonegoro and the research sample is chosen by purposive sampling. Data were collected through observation and then analyzed based on data characteristic with descriptive qualitative and quantitative descriptive. The results showed that: 1) PRODUKSI learning model can be implemented and successfully support communicative project-based physics learning, and 2) learning activities during the implementation of PRODUKSI model involves project activity and communicative learning, where each learning activity emphasizes on the realization: student-centered learning, social interaction and collaboration among students, creative freedom and independence to students, as well as an active and interactive learning environment.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kepraktisan model pembelajaran “PRODUKSI” terhadap keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dan aktivitas belajar siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan desain one-shot case study. Lokasi penelitian adalah di SMAN 2 Bojonegoro dan sampel penelitian dipilih secara purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan kemudian dianalisis berdasarkan karakteristik data dengan deskriptif kualitatif dan deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) model pembelajaran PRODUKSI dapat dilaksanakan dan berhasil mendukung pembelajaran fisika komunikatif berbasis proyek, dan (2) aktivitas belajar selama penerapan model pembelajaran PRODUKSI melibatkan aktivitas proyek dan pembelajaran komunikatif, di mana setiap aktivitas belajarnya menekankan pada terwujudnya: pembelajaran berpusat pada siswa, interaksi sosial dan kolaborasi antar siswa, kebebasan dan kemandirian berkreasi pada siswa, serta suasana belajar aktif dan interaktif.

IDENTIFICATION OF LAND DAMAGE FOR BIOMASS PRODUCTION. The soil has limited resources and always has human pressured led to damage or disturbance, as accumulate processes of chronic anthropogenic pressures or it activities has more unfriendly. Therefore restoration processes soil ecological function develop, in increasing of biomass production has very important for wellbeing. Aim this research to identification and analysis of soil conditions of vulnerabilities, and it used to methods based to SK Dirjen RRL No. 041/Kpts/V/1998 or law of government RI No. 150, 2000 of year, and used or applied to geography system information (SIG) approach. This research result of showed has potentially of damage or disturbance of soil in Kramatmulya subdistrict, Kuningan, West Java, Indonesia has examples in Pejambon villages of 1, 2, and 3 area, which is differences of the potential soil of damage (Low, medium, and high). it has based on permeability aspect, which in Pejambon 1 area has high damage categories by 12,76 value cm/hours, then Ph (H20) Pejambon 2 (4,23) and 3 (4,19) value, which has of high damage categories, and DHL in Pejambon 1 (16,00), 2 (19,00), and 3 (47,00) value has high damage to categories. Processing of evaluation and monitoring of soil management is very important, besides of more increasing of human population number, of course, the need of space for fulfilling the wellbeing human aspects.

Tanah maupun lahan merupakan sumber daya yang terbatas dan senantiasa mendapatkan tekanan, yang mengarah pada kerusakan, akibat akumulasi aktivitas masyarakat, yang semakin tidak ramah lingkungan. Mengembalikan maupun merestorasi fungsi ekologi tanah (lahan), dalam rangka meningkatkan produksi biomassa menjadi penting, dalam memenuhi hajat hidup masyarakat banyak. Tujuan penelitian ini, mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis kondisi lahan, yang rentan dengan kerusakan. Metode yang digunakan untuk penilaian tingkat kekritisan lahan. Berdasarkan pada SK Dirjen RRL No. 041/Kpts/V/1998 atau Perpem RI No. 150 tahun 2000 (Kriteria baku kerusakan tanah), serta pendekatannya dengan menggunakan sistem informasi geografi (SIG). Hasil penelitian ini, menunjukkan bahwa, potensi kerusakan lahan yang terjadi di Kecamatan Kramatmulya, Kuningan, Jawa Barat, Indonesia, tepatnya di area Desa Pajambon 1, 2, dan 3, memiliki tingkatan kerusakan lahan yang berbeda-beda (ringan, sedang, dan berat), hal ini berdasarkan pada aspek Permeabilitas, yaitu Pejambon 1 mengalami kerusakan dengan nilai 12,76 cm/jam, kemudian berdasarkan pH (H20), Pejambon 2 dan 3 dalam kategori rusak berat dengan pH 4,23 dan 4,19, dan berdasar pada DHL Pejambon 1, 2, 3 dalam ketegori rusak berat, sehingga memonitoring dan mengevaluasi penggunaan lahan menjadi penting, seiring dengan makin meningkatnya jumlah populasi manusia, yang tentunya membutuhkan ruang untuk memenuhi atau mencukupi hidup secara layak.

Peningkatan Kemampuan Menyusun Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP) Berbasis Saintifik bagi Calon Guru Fisika

The three main tasks of teachers are planning, implementing and evaluating learning. The purpose of this study is to improve the ability of prospective physics teacher planning in preparing the scientific based LP. The research method used is a descriptive method. The subjects of this study are 9 physics semester VI academic year 2015/2016 in a micro-teaching course. The research instrument used scalar assessment with rubrics of LP display results. Data analysis techniques used descriptive qualitative and quantitative. Based on the result of research, the average value of LP 1 is 78,97 with a good category, 2nd RPP equal to 84,52 with very good category and the third LP is 96,00 with a very good category.

Tiga tugas utama guru yaitu melakukan perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi pembelajaran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan perencanaan bagi calon guru fisika dalam menyusun RPP berbasis saintifik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini berjumlah 9 mahasiswa pendidikan fisika semester VI tahun akademik 2015/2016 pada mata kuliah Micro Teaching. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan penilaian skala disertai rubrik dari hasil tampilan RPP. Teknik analisis data menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh nilai rata-rata penyusunan RPP ke- 1 sebesar 78,97 dengan kategori baik, RPP ke- 2 sebesar 84,52 dengan kategori sangat baik dan RPP ke-3 sebesar 96,00 dengan kategori sangat baik.

The Use of Internet eXe-Learning Media Based on Problems on The Concept Environmental Change to Increase Learning Outcomes Students X SMA Negeri 8 Cirebon. This study was conducted to improve student learning outcomes by maximizing the utilization of technology. The purpose of this research is to study 1) student learning activities, 2) improvement of student learning outcomes, and 3) students’ responses to the use of internet eXe-Learning based problem. The population in this study were all students of class X SMA Negeri 8 Kota Cirebon. The research design used was pretest-posttest control group design with data collection technique using test, observation and questionnaire. Data were analyzed using Anates ver. 4.0 and SPSS ver. 21.0 software. The results showed 1) student learning activities using internet eXe-Learning media has increased in every meeting and the indicator; 2) improvement of students’ experimental class learning outcomes and increased statistical test results in sig. 0.049 < 0.05, meaning Ho is rejected and Ha accepted; 3) students’ responses to learning using eXe-Learning based internet media are included into strong and powerful criteria.

JENIS HERPETOFAUNA DI CAGAR ALAM DAN TAMAN WISATA ALAM PENGANDARAN JAWA BARAT

This study aims to determine the type of Herpetofauna that often appear in the area Cikamal and Cirengganis. This research was conducted in West Java precisely in Nature Tourism and Pangandaran Nature Reserve. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with field research approach (VES). Visual Encounter Survey (VES) along the river and river body. The data obtained is analyzed first with the calculation of the number and calculation of the percentage of research results. From the results of this study get 2 types of herpetofauna consisting of amphibians and reptiles. Amphibians consist of a type of frog and type of bangkong. While only the type of lizard reptile found in the two locations. Amphibians and reptiles are found: Type of frog (Fajervarya limnocharis, Rana chalconata, Microdiscus sp, Hylidae), type of bangkong (Microhyla achatina, Bufonidae) and Lizard Type (Spenomorphus sp).

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis Herpetofauna yang sering muncul di daerah Cikamal dan Cirengganis. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Jawa Barat tepatnya di Wisata Alam dan Cagar Alam Pangandaran. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan riset lapangan (VES). Visual Encounter Survey (VES) dengan menyusuri Sungai dan badan Sungai. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis terlebih dahulu dengan perhitungan jumlah dan perhitungan persentase hasil penelitian. Dari hasil penelitian kali ini mendapatkan 2 jenis herpetofauna yang terdiri dari amfibi dan reptil. Amfibi terdiri dari jenis katak dan jenis bangkong. Sedangkan reptil hanya jenis kadal yang di temukan di dua lokasi tersebut. Amfibi dan reptil yang ditemukan yaitu: Jenis katak (Fajervarya limnocharis, Rana chalconata, Microdiscus sp, Hylidae), jenis bangkong (Microhyla achatina, Bufonidae) dan Jenis Kadal (Spenomorphus sp).

Bamboo is a plant that grows in clump scattering in the tropical, subtropical and temperate region. Bamboo can grow in dry to wet tropical climate, fertile soil conditions or less fertile, and from the 0 m to 4000 m above sea level, and from flat to mountain slopes or cliffs of the river. Bamboo is widely available around Pandeglang regency, Banten. The aims of this study to understand the interaction and utilization of bamboo by communities around the District Sobang with the ethnobotanical approach. Ethnobotany deepens the relationship between human culture and nature around it. This research focuses on the perceptions and concepts of cultural groups in society, including the knowledge system of its members to face their life scope. This study used a survey method, direct exploration and interviews on community Sobang District of Pandeglang Banten by age group using a questionnaire to determine the level of public knowledge about the utilization of Gigantochloa robusta Kurz.Based on this research that has been done that the District Public Sobang have relationships and interactions of the Gigantochloa robusta Kurz. The Community uses it as material traditional technology, craft/commercial, heavy construction, foods, customs, light construction, traditional medicine and other benefits. Utilization of traditional technology is the most widely utilized.

Bambu merupakan tanaman berumpun. Tanaman ini tumbuh tersebar di daerah tropis, sub tropis dan daerah beriklim sedang. Bambu dapat tumbuh pada iklim kering sampai tropika basah, pada kondisi tanah subur atau kurang subur dari dataran 0m sampai 4000 m diatas permukaan laut. Mulai dari tempat datar sampai lereng-lereng gunung atau tebing-tebing sungai. Bambu banyak terdapat di sekitar Kecamatan Sobang. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pemanfaatan bambu oleh masyarakat di sekitar Kecamatan Sobang yang dikaji secara etnobotani. Penelitian ini lebih mengutamakan pada persepsi dan konsepsi budaya kelompok masyarakat, yang dipelajari adalah sistem pengetahuan anggotanya dalam menghadapi lingkup hidupnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei, eksplorasi langsung dan wawancara pada masyarakat Kecamatan Sobang Kabupaten Pandeglang Banten. Berdasarkan kelompok umur menggunakan kuesioner untuk mengetahui tingkat pengetahuan masyarakat tentang pemanfaatan Gigantochloa robusta Kurz. Hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan bahwa Masyarakat Kecamatan Sobang memiliki hubungan dan interaksi terhadap Bambu Mayan. Masyarakat memanfaatkannya sebagai bahan teknologi tradisional, kerajinan/komersil, konstruksi berat, makanan, adat-istiadat, konstruksi ringan, obat tradisional dan manfaat lainnya. Pemanfaatan sebagai teknologi tradisional paling banyak di manfaatkan.

PENGEMBANGAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN BIOLOGI BERORIENTASI ETNOPEDAGOGI PADA MAHASISWA CALON GURU

This study aimed to describe the ability of student teachers of biology at Pasundan University in developing learning models oriented of ethno-pedagogy. This research used a quasi-experimental with quantitative descriptive analysis techniques, data obtained based on the results of data analysis are described for obtaining information or a description of the results of this study. The population in this study as many as 197 students were divided into 38 groups, the sample in this study as many as 28 groups. Data collected by the non-test, the data obtained from a document or report student assignments given a score based on the indicators are divided into several aspects of the assessment, the questionnaire responses of students and teacher ratings. The results showed that the ability of student teachers of biology in developing the oriented of ethno-pedagogy learning models included in both categories, with an average score of 78.04. The average score highest on aspects of the grammar used by students in developing learning models oriented of ethno-pedagogy at 83.21 and the lowest score associated with the creative aspect of student groups in developing learning models oriented of ethno-pedagogy at 74.84. The response of students to the development oriented of ethno-pedagogy learning model is quite good as many as 74.96% of students than expected. Assessment of teachers in general about the development oriented of ethno-pedagogy learning model is quite good, teachers want their socialization and the need for further development of the learning model with ethno- pedagogy is based on the local wisdom.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan mahasiswa calon guru biologi di Universitas Pasundan dalam mengembangkan model pembelajaran berorientasi etnopedagogi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan teknik analisis deskriptif kuantitatif, data yang diperoleh berdasarkan hasil analisis data dideskripsikan untuk memperoleh informasi atau gambaran hasil penelitian ini. Populasi pada penelitian ini sebanyak 197 mahasiswa yang terbagi dalam 38 kelompok, sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 28 kelompok. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan nontest, data diperoleh dari dokumen atau laporan tugas mahasiswa yang diberikan skor berdasarkan indikator-indikatornya yang terbagi kedalam beberapa aspek penilaian, kuesioner respon mahasiswa dan penilaian guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kemampuan mahasiswa calon guru biologi dalam mengembangkan model pembelajaran berorientasi etnopedagogi termasuk kategori dalam baik, dengan skor rata-rata sebesar 78,04. Skor rata-rata tertinggi yaitu pada aspek tatabahasa yang digunakan oleh mahasiswa dalam mengembangkan model pembelajaran berorientasi etnopedagogi sebesar 83,21 dan skor terendah terkait dengan aspek kreativitas kelompok mahasiswa dalam mengembangkan model pembelajaran berorientasi etnopedagogi sebesar 74,84. Respon mahasiswa terhadap pengembangan model pembelajaran berorientasi etnopedagogi cukup baik yaitu sebanyak 74,96% mahasiswa dari yang diharapkan. Penilaian guru secara umum mengenai pengembangan model pembelajaran berorientasi etnopedagogi cukup baik, guru menghendaki adanya sosialisasi dan perlu adanya pengembangan model pembelajaran lebih lanjut dengan berbasis etnopedagogi yang dilandasi dengan kearifan lokal (local wisdom).

ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari efektivitas pembelajaran Kapita Selekta Biologi berbasis masalah terhadap pembentukan Habits of Mind. Penelitian dilakukan dengan latar belakang ingin meningkatkan kualitas berpikir, salah satunya adalah kemampuan individu untuk berperilaku cerdas, atau disebut Habits of Mind. Oleh karena itu perlu suatu pembelajaran yang memberikan ruang dan kesempatan kepada mahasiswa untuk membangun pengetahuannya secara nyata melalui pengalaman konkrit, atau pembelajaran yang bersifat konstuktivisme. Contoh pembelajaran seperti itu adalah pembelajaran yang berbasis masalah. Untuk mengimplementasikannya dibutuhkan mata kuliah yang memiliki konsep yang kompleks salah satunya adalah mata kuliah Kapita Selekta Biologi. Kapita Selekta Biologi termasuk salah satu mata kuliah yang mempelajari berbagai topik biologi yang lengkap dan komprehensif. Konsep-konsep pada mata kuliah Kapita Selekta Biologi memerlukan kemampuan berfikir tingkat tinggi karena banyak terdapat konsep-konsep yang abstrak dan perlu daya imajinasi yang kuat. Maka penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari efektivitas pembelajaran Kapita Selekta Biologi berbasis masalah terhadap pembentukan Habits of Mind. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif pre-experimental design yang menggunakan one-group Pretest-postest Design. Setelah dilakukan penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa Pembelajaran Kapita Selekta Biologi berbasis masalah efektif dalam membentuk Habits of Mind mahasiswa calon guru, terutama efektif terhadap pembentukan indikator critical thinking dari Habits of Mind. Respon mahasiswa terhadap pembelajaran Kapita Selekta Biologi berbasis masalah termasuk kedalam kriteria kuat. Hal ini menujukkan bahwa pembelajaran Kapita Selekta Biologi berbasis masalah dapat diterima secara positif oleh mahasiswa.
